{"id":5209,"date":"2015-10-01T02:26:17","date_gmt":"2015-10-01T08:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.apexequipmentltd.com\/?page_id=5209"},"modified":"2018-09-19T10:58:17","modified_gmt":"2018-09-19T16:58:17","slug":"chem-gard-cgc","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.apexequipmentltd.com\/?page_id=5209","title":{"rendered":"CHEM-GARD\u00ae CGC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"row\">\n<aside class=\"col-sm-7\">\n<h3>Thermoplastic Close-Coupled Centrifugal Pumps<br \/>\ntransfer caustic\/acidic chemicals and ultrapure fluids in restricted spaces<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Flows to 640 gpm (145 m3\/h)<\/li>\n<li>Heads to 170 ft (52 m)<\/li>\n<li>Temps to 275\u00b0F (135\u00b0C)<\/li>\n<li>Construction: PP, PVC, PVDF<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vanton CHEM-GARD\u00ae CGC close-coupled, end suction thermoplastic centrifugal pumps are ideal for the dependable transfer of acidic, caustic and ultrapure chemicals when space is critical, and corrosion and contamination cannot be tolerated.<\/p>\n<p>Ideal for retrofit and OEM applications, these pumps are approximately 20 percent shorter than long-coupled pumps, allowing installation in restricted spaces, while eliminating corrosion and fluid contamination associated with pumps constructed of stainless steel, wicking associated with fiberglass pumps, and delamination associated with plastic-lined metal pumps.<\/p>\n<p>All pump components in contact with the fluid are injection molded of solid, chemically inert polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), including virgin natural and pigment-free thermoplastics to assure the integrity of high purity water, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and semiconductor fluids.<\/p>\n<p>Solid, thick-sectioned thermoplastic casings are additionally protected by structural metal armor, enabling CGC pumps to withstand the same nozzle loadings as metal pumps.<\/p>\n<p>The wet end is comprised of solid, thick-sectioned, stand-alone components (unlike plastic linings), that are easily replaced, maximizing uptime while minimizing cost.<\/p>\n<p>Vanton CGC pumps are available in your choice of tangential or centerline discharge that allows removal for maintenance without disturbing existing piping. Their innovative construction includes a pump shaft assembly completely independent of the motor shaft, minimizing maintenance and extending motor service life.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<aside
