AUTOMATIC
BY-PASS VALVES
Centrifugal pumps are damaged by continuous operation at no or low flow,
due to the heat build up inside the equipment, as well as vibration and
forces induced by internal recirculation and out of balance loads. The
use of an automatic by-pass valve provides simple and effective means
of protecting the equipment while not wasting energy as with a permanent
by-pass.
